That's what Jumpier Ridge is all about, the sensual pleasures of the outdoors. When you use Juniper Ridge soaps, sachets or incenses, they'll take you to memories of Sierra summers, or that time you hiked in the Grand Canyon because they smell woodsy and natural, just like the real thing. And when you taste our wild berry jams or wild herb teas, you're getting real wild flavor straight from the mountains. That's because we never doctor our products up with added scents or flavors - we only use wild herbs and wild plant trimmings. Wild Harvest

Wildcrafting (gathering wild herbs and plant trimmings) is the heart and soul of Juniper Ridge. From the early days when I used to set out for week long wildcrafting trips, sleeping off Forest Service roads and waking from uneasy dreams to find a pair of glowing, feline eyes skirting the edge of my makeshift campsite, to the present day when i take a crew of five people down to a ranch to pick Juniper and Bay for a few days, this is what we do. This business was born out of my love for the wild plants and the outdoors.

Everything we do and everything Juniper Ridge is about would be pointless if the plants were harmed by our harvesting activities. As such, we always harvest with permission and in a sustainable and responsible manner. When we harvest Juniper we prune around the bottom of tall trees and every year, the trees respond vigorously to the pruning by putting on new growth. We also give 10 percent of our profits to groups that defend western wilderness, so when you are getting a gift from the wild, you are also helping preserve it.

Wild Herb Incenses:

Better than the average incense. Have you ever noticed how most incense manufactures don't disclose their ingredients? We tell you all of our ingredients because we have nothing to hide - none of the perfume oils, chemical burning aids and cheap punking material found in other incenses. In fact, ours are the only incenses anywhere made with 100 percent wild-gathered leaves, wood and resins from the mountains and deserts of the West. So instead of being sweet and perfumey, our incenses smell natural and woodsy, like a campfire cracking in the mountain-air night. Ingredients for all incenses; wild harvested leaves, wood and resins from the mountains and deserts of the West, vegetable gum (to hold plant material together), bamboo stick.

Wild Herb Soaps:

Relaxing, woodsy scents - smells like taking a shower in a cedar forest or juniper woodland.

Mild, All Vegetable Oil Soap. In addition to being natural and woodsy smelling, Juniper Ridge soaps are also good for your skin. Made with a mild all-vegetable oil base (olive oil for moisturizing, palm oil to make the bar hard, coconut oil for lather) and super-fatted with shea butter (a premium moisturizing skin care oil from and African Karite tree), these soaps make perfect general face and body soaps. At the farmers markets, use these soaps in the shower because they're great for your skin and that's the best way to experience the "out in the woods" scents that make our soaps unique.

Ingredients for all soaps: olive oil, palm oil, coconut oil, shea butter, wild harvested plant trimmings from the mountains and deserts of the West.
